Living in a Fun Mayhem

It snowed on Thursday. In the middle of March. WHY? In my opinion, the snow is absolutely gorgeous in December while anticipating Christmas’s arrival. However, I do not appreciate it in the middle of March. Thank goodness it disappeared before the weekend or else I would become very upset.

So far I’m having a good time. Track, spring play, and weekends with my horses keep me busy enough. Currently I can balance my time between track and play very well. The only hectic moments will be days with track meets and the play practices before the performance in April. This year everything seems to be occurring in April. I have a one-day field trip to D.C., spring play, the band trip to Boston, and assorted track meets thrown in the mix. After that, finally, I can slow down to enjoy myself over the Easter break. After Easter my mind will concentrate on the rest of the track season until the desperately needed summer break begins! See? I’m not complaining about school one bit.

While absolutely everything seems to be occurring in my life I still prioritize work on Another Worthless Play. I have not posted any more scenes on this site because I decided to elaborate upon some of the earlier scenes. Right now I consider releasing the second scene after I finish this post. Since I am typing this during a fragment of free time in computer class it depends upon how much time I have left after writing this. I can promise that the play looks spectacular. I am currently working on the second act. Who knows? Maybe it will turn out to be my best piece of literature yet! I’ll just have to keep working on it and see.

As mentioned before in this post, I will travel with the marching band for a spring trip. I absolutely CANNOT wait to go. Along with the main attractions in Boston I will see Salem, Mass. and the historical sites related to the witch trials. While there I plan on taking countless pictures. The location may also inspire the creation of a few new spooky, dark stories! The concept sounds extremely  interesting. Upon my return I plan to post a few of my best pictures here and document my adventures during the trip. Until then I’ll be busy surviving the other adventures this spring.

Hurry Up Spring!

It’s official: I cannot wait for the snow to disappear and for spring to begin! Last weekend I enjoyed spending time with the horses and riding Adam in the wonderful ‘half-winter-half-spring’ weather. Then a few days later…and school is canceled because of snow! I would take some time to complain about the sudden change in weather but instead I will express my excitement for the exciting events coming up soon.

First off is…track! Yes, I decided to run for another season this spring! Last year was pretty fun so I figured I might as well continue this year. I have more friends on the team this year which is another good thing. I started staying after school for conditioning last week. Surprisingly I enjoy it and am thankful that I exercised on the treadmill and ran regularly since last season. This will probably be my last year for track, however, so I can concentrate more on spring play during my junior and senior high school years.

This year’s spring play is Father of the Bride. So far it sounds like most people enjoy the choice. I have a feeling the play will go very well and the wedding scene will be so pretty! I’m extremely grateful that I am allowed to balance my time this spring between play AND track. I did it last year with few major issues so hopefully all will go well this year. :)

During my spare time I am also working diligently on my second stage play. Currently I am on the first scene of Act II after intermission. The play looks thrilling so far and I cannot wait to complete the first draft! Hopefully I’ll have it finished near the middle of March. Then I can concentrate on editing it at any convenient time such as backstage, before track practice, or during the bus ride to Boston for the band trip. I’m bursting with excitement for the trip as well! I’m rooming with three awesome friends who are EXTREMELY fun to hang out with. We’ll have a blast touring around Boston, marching in the parade, swimming in the hotel swimming pool, walking around Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, and spending time in Salem. (yes, we’re going there too!) The trip will take place in the month of April…just like spring play, Easter, and track practice. :) That will be one busy month for me!

P.S. Expect another Shadow Realm to be completed soon.

Another Play

Shortly after the Christmas and New Year holiday a friend gave me a small red writing journal. The book consists of lined pages in between a leather looking red cover complete with a magnetic snap and ribbon bookmark. It probably stands among the prettiest of my writing books.

One of the book’s most important qualities will be, of course, the contents in which I choose to write inside. After considering many possibilities I ultimately decided upon filling the book with…

…yes…

ANOTHER STAGE PLAY!

This new play, tentatively titled Yet Another Worthless Play, revolves around the story of two librarians who tend to a secluded library by the shore of a town called Seaglass. The play will involve zombies as well. Unlike my previous play, Master Manderdorke, I plan to post this play here on this blog. I will release Yet Another Worthless Play scene by scene as completed. No schedule for the scene releases but I will certainly announce the latest scenes in future blog posts. Already posted, the play’s page is located in the sidebar to the right with my other writing. The first scene along with the accompanying character list are released as well. I am excited for this second play and hope my readers will also enjoy it.

Let’s Go 2011!

Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s 2011 already. Christmas is over and the next big thing to look forward to is spring play! So far this year is going great for me. I placed all of my Christmas money in savings for jockey school, future county fair/show funds, and a jockey saddle I hope to order before summer. (I’ll talk about that later.) Using the gift cards I received I ordered two items online. From Amazon I ordered a Kill Hannah t-shirt expected to arrive anytime between today and January 11th. I also ordered a racetrack style saddle blanket customized with Adam’s name as well as ‘J.B. Stables’. It is in the traditional #9 design (turquiose color) and I expect for it to arrive on the 13th. I cannot wait for the blanket’s arrival and hope to ride with it soon!

A friend gave me an elegant writing journal as a Christmas gift. After much consideration I decided to fill it with another stage play. This one will be about zombies for sure although I have no other specifications on this second play. When I have a few more pages finished I will share more information about it and possibly even post it here in the archives.

Hopefully these events will keep me preoccupied until the start of spring play. Adam is almost fully recovered so I hope to ride him more often in my spare time. Finally the band’s Boston trip is drawing near. These signs indicate that the new year will be an awesome one!

Huzzah! MORE Shadow Realm!

I just added ‘Shadow Realm’ as a post category. From now on all Shadow Realm related posts such as this one will be marked under that category.

Yes! After taking a long break from by favorite -and only- fantasy series, Shadow Realm, I have returned to it at last. If you check in the sidebar part 10 has been released! You will also notice that the ‘Shadow Realm’ section of the sidebar has been through major clean-up. The next item on my to-do list is to post the last part of Master Manderdorke before finishing Shadow Realm 11.

P.S. – Shadow Realm XI is looking great so far!

Posted and Waiting…

The cast list and first act of Master Manderdorke were posted yesterday. They are in the sidebar in my story section. You should expect the second act to be completed around the end of the month.

The following stories should be expected to be released by the end of summer:

Shadow Realm X

The next part of Rupeo Desert Wonder

Around Act III or so of Master Manderdorke (Depending upon how long the acts are and how I choose to divide them)

– The first part of my horse story Eboni Dawn

and more.

Spring Writing Updates!

I’m very sorry about my lack of updating things lately. The reason is that there really isn’t anything to update on. I suppose I could have written a few posts briefly discussing the current events happening in my life. Oh, well. I will sum up the latest news of my writing in this post for now. FIrst of all, I am writing a play. It is titled Master Manderdorke and it set in the Victorian era. So far it is fifteen pages long and turning out very well. I already finished Act I and will be posting it soon. I am still working on Shadow Realm and hope to have another part up by early summer.

Posted Today

Today I posted more of my artwork! You can view it in the sidebar under the title of “Artwork and Illustration”. There are two other pages of artwork nested underneath the main page (Equine art and Shadow Realm)

Posted on the main page is a picture of Frankie (the dog from True Heroes Never Die and a random portrait.

No new pictures have been added today to the Equine Art page.

Included on the Shadow Realm page are the IM icons I designed. I do not believe I will post the Phan icon because of a few specific reasons. (The icon is the one most commonly used by me.) I have yet to post the shadow-shape king and princess.

That is all for today! Tomorrow I will try to post more.

RDW’s Site Visitors

WOW! Rupeo Desert Wonder has brought 14 visitors to this site yesterday alone! I am almost about to give this story the title of one of the most popular stories discussed / read.  I am working as hard as I humanly can on RDW so I can release another section soon. I hate to keep everyone waiting too long!

By the way….Shadow Realm VI: My Zombie Friend For Life will probably be released sometime in April to give me time for work on RDW.

Rupeo Desert Wonder Intro posted!

A split decision has been made.  I released just now the introduction to my new story Rupeo Desert Wonder. It is short but it is only an introduction. I hope you enjoy it and comments / feedback is appreciated. :)
